Elmswood Farm is 10,000 acres of prime agricultural land in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales in Australia. It embraces the tiny town of Gundy and rises from river flats to a mountain top sometimes dusted with snow.
Purchased by Phillip Adams and Patrice Newell in 1986 it’s home to numerous products.
- Virgo Extra Virgin Olive Oil (certified A – grade biodynamic )
- Virgo Olive Oil Soap with Honey.
- Elmswood Beef.
- Elmswood Honey.
Instead of high pressure factory farming with its chemical dependencies, Elmswood keeps things simple making 'slow food' with a respect for tradition and the soil using biodynamic practices.

Colin Watts is studying horticulture and I hope to see him back again.
Gavin MacCallum surprised all of us when he decided to take a year off and travel overseas with his best friend – now fiancé - Lucy. They return in April 2008, after travelling and working across Europe and visiting Egypt.
Last year Jamie Gray became manager. Originally from the Kimberly region, and more recently South Queensland, he's spent his life managing stock. Within days of his arrival it started to rain and virtually hasn't stopped since.
